How we got here

We didn't set out to build a business. We set out to survive our engagement.

What we found along the way changed how we think about relationships entirely, and it's why wedweeks exists.

Where it all started

We got engaged. Then we froze.

We're Kristin & Kyle. We met in a tiny SoHo cafe, fell in love, and got engaged, and then promptly froze. We were both doing well in our careers, but planning a wedding felt like a different beast entirely.

The stress of just getting started started to take a real toll on us. Eventually we decided we couldn't dodge it any longer. Time to face it head-on, together.

And then something clicked...

The planning wasn't the point. Learning to decide things together was.

Somewhere in the budgets and the guest lists, we realized the wedding was teaching us how to partner on the big stuff: money, family, faith, the future. The conversations we were having weren't wedding admin. They were the foundation of a marriage. That turned out to be the most valuable thing we got out of the whole process.

Which brings us here

So we built the tools we wish we'd had.

Things that help couples have the conversations and make the choices that actually shape a life together, on purpose instead of by accident.

Not a one-size-fits-all blueprint. Tools that help you build a relationship that reflects who you are, starting with the season you're planning a life together, and growing from there.

Rooted in connection, guided by intention, and defined by a life chosen, not prescribed.

Proof it works...

We practiced what we preach.

We pulled off our dream wedding in Brooklyn on May 13, 2023, as a team, through intentional planning. A few of the talented people who made it happen:

  • Venue + F&B: Rule of Thirds
  • Photographer: Abby Leigh Photo
  • Cinematographer: Jared St. Cyr
  • Florals: Long Weekend Florals
  • DJ: DJ Kerray
  • ...and the rest of the dream team

The stuff you're actually wondering

You probably have questions.

Is this only for Christian couples?

Nope. We're Christians, and that shapes how we think about marriage. But we built these tools on purpose to work for any couple who wants to be intentional together. A few prompts touch on faith, because faith is a real part of a lot of relationships, but none of them assume you share ours. If you do, you'll feel at home. If you don't, you won't feel preached at. That was a deliberate design choice, not an afterthought.

Why should we take your advice?

Mostly, you're not. Our tools don't hand you our opinions about how to do your relationship. They surface the questions and conversations worth having, and you decide the answers. What we bring is pattern recognition. We've planned our own wedding, and we've talked with hundreds of couples about what helped and what they wish they'd done sooner. We're not the experts on your relationship. We just know which conversations tend to matter most.

Do we have to be planning a wedding to use this?

Our first tool is built for the engaged season, because that's when these conversations get urgent, and it's where we started. But the bigger idea isn't about weddings. It's about building a relationship on purpose at every stage, and more tools for more seasons are on the way.

Okay, I'm in. What can I actually buy right now?

Right now, nothing, and we mean that in the most exciting way. We're putting the finishing touches on our first tool and we want to do the launch right. Get on the list and you'll be the first to know, and first in line, when it drops.
